Tamra Lynn Harrison-Pfeffer
Tamra has always loved the beauty business. She began her career in 1989, and established A Classy Touch as a business owner in 1991. Her first experience was in a little shop in the town of Diamond Springs, and over time successfully expanded her salon. In 2001 A Classy Touch moved to the Shingle Springs area.
When Tamra was first introduced to Permanent Makeup in 1992, she exclaimed “Not only do I want it, I want to ‘do’ it!” and so she did. She took several classes in 1992, and then embarked on a year long apprenticeship in Santa Rosa, California, within a plastic surgeon’s office. Tamra has always felt that education is the key to success in the Permanent Makeup business, and has taken SPCP (Society for Permanent Cosmetic Professionals) advanced continuing education classes every year since 1992. She was one of the first ever certified by the SPCP.
Tamra does more than Permanent eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips – she also does medical tattooing for scars/burns, camouflage, areolas, cleft lip scars, cover-ups, and animals!
Tamra was married in 2007 to her new husband – Fred Pfeffer, and has three children from a previous marriage: Drew, Hailey and Christian. Tamra also has two dogs – Carmel (the salon dog) and Rocky (the tattooed dog).
Tamra enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading, movies, and scrap booking.
Shari Matthews, C.M.T.
Shari Matthews is one of our Certified Massage Therapists. She graduated from Healing Arts Institute in the fall of 2002. She has since been awarded advanced certifications that include: Deep Tissue massage, Reflexology, European massage, Spa services, and Raindrop Therapy.
She is also certified in Geriatric massage, Oncology massage, and is hospice trained, which allows her to work with Healing Hands Healing Hearts, a non-profit organization which provides massage to clients who are critically ill or under hospice care.
She truly enjoys working on all body types and believes everyone, from age 1 to 100 needs touch! She looks forward to working with you.
